By using Trezor.io/start, you ensure your wallet setup and software downloads come directly from the official Trezor source — keeping your digital assets protected from phishing, fake websites, or malicious apps.
Open your browser and manually type Trezor.io/start in the address bar. Avoid using external links to guarantee you’re accessing the genuine Trezor website.
Click the Download Trezor Suite button. This is the official desktop software that helps you manage your Trezor Wallet. Trezor Suite is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, allowing you to buy, send, and receive cryptocurrencies securely.
Plug in your Trezor Hardware Wallet using the provided USB cable. Open Trezor Suite, and it will automatically detect your device. Follow the on-screen steps to continue setup.
Choose “Create new wallet” if you’re setting up your Trezor for the first time, or select “Recover wallet” if you already have a recovery seed.
Your device will display a 12-, 18-, or 24-word recovery seed.
